[ right, steven isn't going anywhere, but his mind is going all over the place. at least hearing that he's trusted as much as he trusts helps ground him—those are always words he aims for, and to get them from steven is... nice. that he's even gotten to the point where he feels he can... admit something like this to someone is nice.
