Oh, dear! I apologize. I'll try to word my greetings more carefully in the future.
Archie happened to have one that he, ah... well he sort of threw it at Nanu and now we have one roaming our house. Do you know if berries are safe for them to eat? Also, what should we do in lieu of a Pokemon Center if it falls ill?
I'm not sure why I asked... and I don't think "peculiar" is the first word I'd use to describe him.
But to answer your question, I don't think berries are ideal for their diets. There are shops in the market district that cater to domestic animals like them - you'll be able to find food and grooming items for them there, among other essentials. As for medical care, a "veterinarian" should serve as the equivalent to a Pokemon Center nurse, but keep in mind that none of their services are free of charge.
I suppose we all have to have something to believe in, such as the effort to be less... peculiar. I suspect you would have a very colorful description in mind.
I see! Thank you for this valuable information. I think Nanu only kept the cat because he was afraid Archie might do something absurd. I heard it wouldn't stop screaming at him, apparently.
I recall him having a soft spot for Meowth, so it seems only natural that he'd be drawn to cats. Archie, on the other hand, seems to find himself more comfortable with creatures of aquatic persuasion.
[ he can't criticize, seeing as stone and steel are very much a part of his own brand. ]
He is quite fond of Alolan Meowth, yes. Although Archie does have Mightyena and Crobat... and as I recall from a... ah, particular instance, an Electrode. I suppose cats fall into the category that Electrode must for him...
Oh! We've just called it "Cat". Archie had called it "Scrungus," however...
[ It's not hard to come up with a better name, is it. ]
I'm familiar with his Electrode. It would do him well to keep a better eye on it...
[ it ended up on someone's lawn once. please do not unintentionally bomb people, Archie. ]
He... what? [ there's a moment in their link that's just utter bewilderment. ] ...never mind. I ask only because it's incredibly common to nickname household animals - you won't find many people calling them by their species name like Trainers tend to do.
I agree. It seems that they do not yet have an adequate bond; were I him, I would be focused on that.
[ Once is enough in her opinion. It could mean dire straits for the rest of them and a sweeping generalization of pokemon if he didn't. ]
I suppose you've the same reaction as I have and understandably so.
I've noticed that, but we do not intend to have other local animals. This was simply because Archie foisted it upon poor Nanu. Just our luck, isn't it?
I take it that we've somehow managed to endear ourselves to him, in that case. He seems to relish in causing trouble for Nanu... but admittedly, Nanu is a very particular man.
[ Their house is pretty alright! You know, aside from the budding romance between her Weavile and Nanu's Sableye. They're bad influences on one another. ]
We are, yes. The pokemon do not mind it or the other way around. Do you have any other animals other than the wyvern?
The interesting parallel between animals and Pokemon is that they have an uncanny way of forming bonds with humans, even in the oddest of circumstances. I have a feeling Nanu will warm up to him in time.
[ hopefully under a different name. ]
There are a few, yes. Crowe owns a cat of her own, and there's also a chocobo - a creature of Ignis' world. It looks a bit like a large Torchic.
I wonder if it is more for the sake of seeing if Nanu can cope than how it adapts to our pokemon? Hm.
[ Nailed it, maybe. Although she imagines it's more out of wanting to hear about how him being frustrated than secretly sweet. ]
I see. So it's like our pokemon, then. They came here with the people from its world? I wonder what the forests they are from are like? Even here, they can be quite different from ours.

As a matter of fact, I do - one of the people I live with has one as a pet. What would you like to know?

I hope you mean that figuratively.

[ as much as he likes Anabel, he's glad he doesn't live in that house. godspeed, friend. ]
That said, are you planning on keeping this cat?

Oh my! I haven't seen anything like that. Are they out in the forests, then?

[ with how prickly Nanu can be, he wants to see just how much of a soft side he's capable of. ]
I believe this one hatched from an egg - you won't find any roaming the wild here, but from what I understand they are indeed native to forests.

[ a little bit of column A, a little bit of column B. he isn't denying anything! ]
I believe this chocobo was given by an Arehtei in exchange for a filled amulet. That makes me curious as well... I'll have to ask.
